Venue
The party will be at Somerville Arts at the Armory, 191 Highland Ave., Somerville, MA.
This is an historic arts and community center, repurposed from an old national guard armory. Regina, Casey’s mom, teaches harp here most weeks.
The venue has free, dedicated parking.
If you come by public transportation, it is a 1-mile walk from either the Porter or Davis stations on the Red Line subway. You can also take the MBTA RT 88 and RT 90 bus from either Lechmere (Green Line) or Davis Square (Red Line).

Schedule
Doors open at 5.00pm. The ceremony starts at 5.30pm. Dinner and festivities are from 6.30pm - 10:00pm.
Kids of all ages are welcome!
The afterparty will take place at Aeronaut Brewing, 14 Tyler St., Somerville. They're open until 12.30am, which is pretty good for Somerville. If we are still going at 12.30, we'll figure something else out.
On Sunday, we will walk the Harborwalk and explore the North End. Meet at noon at the Boston Public Market at the Haymarket T stop. We'll get something to eat and then wander north.

Aren't You Married Already?
Yes. Yes we are. We'd been planning to get married for a while, but it turned out we needed to tie the knot in a hurry for German visa reasons.
So we got married in Minneapolis on January 18, 2015, in the company of our parents, siblings, and Geezo. A friend officiated. Another friend photographed. We signed an official State of Minnesota Marriage Certificate on a bridge over Minnehaha Creek.
However, we would really like to have a celebration with the rest of our dear friends and extended family. We would like to swap wedding rings, and we would like to declare our (ongoing) commitment to each other in the company of all of you. We love you; we love each other; let's party.

Hotels
We have a room block at the Holiday Inn Bunker Hill Somerville. You should be able to book a room via the block here. Please note that the block expires September 28. There may be a shuttle service between the hotel and the venue, stay tuned!
Hotel space, especially in Cambridge and Somerville, may be tight this weekend because of the Head of the Charles Regatta on the Charles River. This is a big international rowing competition that might be a lot of fun to watch, if you can find a spot. However, it also means that you should book your hotel ASAP.

Boston
We met in Boston, so even though we haven’t lived there for a while, the city is very close to our hearts. Here are some of our favorite things to do in the area:
- Walk around Harvard Yard and Harvard Square. Rub John Harvard’s toe for good luck on your next final.
- Walk the Freedom Trail.
- Visit the Museum of Fine Arts.
- Grab a drink at Lord Hobo or a bite to eat at the Friendly Toast.
- Walk across the Mass Ave bridge and count the smoots.
- Go apple picking and eat some cider donuts.
- Take the Amtrak Downeaster 1 hour north to scenic Exeter, New Hampshire. Stroll around the pretty downtown, and then check out Vino e Vivo, Exeter’s newest and finest wine bar, run by none other than Tony & Regina.

Gifts
We don’t have a gift registry for a couple of reasons. First, we feel strongly that there are people whose needs are so much more acute than ours.
More prosaically, we have lived together since 2010 so we already have the basics we need, and shipping stuff to Germany is annoying.
So it is absolutely not required that you give a gift of any kind. Whether you come to Boston in October or not, if you’re reading this, your presence in our lives has already been all the gift we could possibly ask for. If you would like to give a gift, we would appreciate these two kinds of gifts:
- Something that is small and meaningful to you – something you made, or something that has a story.
- A donation to an organization that you feel is doing good work that the world needs. Any donation that means something to you is meaningful to us.
